Scintillation Grid

Scintillation Grid

A Superb Illusion!

Just count the small black dots...
There are various names for this illusion, but the Scintillation Grid is probably the correct name. This illusion was invented by Elke Lingelbach of the Institut fur Augenoptik Aalen in Germany, and is a changed version of an illusion called the Herman Grid, which is from 1870!

AN ILLUSION FOR YOUR BRAIN- TEST YOUR ACCURACY HERE

AN ILLUSION FOR YOUR BRAIN- TEST YOUR ACCURACY HERE

With this awesome, confusing illusion, your brain is trying to do 2 things at once. Look at the picyure and try to say the colour of the word you see, rather than the accurate word itself. It’s highly tricky to do. The words may seem to fight in a bizarre strength struggle with the colours. This is because the right side of your brain is seeing the colour of the word while the left side is trying to say the actual word itself. This illusion actually splits your brain in half, the result being a cognitive, taxing mixture mashing for the mind.
